What the app stores

The app stores lesson progress and selected course state on your device so you can continue through the string ladder.

Audio playback

The app plays chord sounds locally for practice. The core course does not require microphone access.

Purchases

String by String Guitars is planned as a free app. There is no subscription, lifetime unlock, or in-app purchase in this mini-course.

Analytics

We use limited anonymous PostHog analytics for basic app and website usage so we can understand whether the app and website are working reliably. These events do not include your lesson progress, chord contents, or custom personal data.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data, share practice history with advertisers, or require an account to use the course.
